Agreement to Terms
By using the services of Handyman Gauteng or submitting an enquiry through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging our services.
Services
Handyman Gauteng provides handyman, renovation, waterproofing, roofing, carpentry, painting, tiling, and plumbing services to residential and commercial clients across Gauteng, South Africa.
- All services are subject to assessment and quotation before work commences.
- We reserve the right to decline any job at our discretion.
- Scope of work is defined in the written quotation provided prior to commencement.
Quotations
All quotations provided by Handyman Gauteng are:
- Valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
- Based on the information provided at the time of assessment
- Subject to change if the scope of work changes during execution
- Exclusive of any unforeseen structural, electrical, or plumbing issues discovered during work
Payment
- Payment terms are stated on each quotation or invoice
- A deposit may be required before work commences on larger projects
- Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed work
- We accept EFT bank transfer and cash
Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If a defect is identified in the workmanship (not materials or third-party factors) within 30 days of project completion, we will return to rectify the issue at no additional cost.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, third-party work, or acts of nature.
Client Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Ensure the site is in a condition that allows work to proceed
- Advise us of any hazards, pre-existing conditions, or concerns before work begins
- Obtain any necessary permissions or consent from landlords, body corporates, or municipalities where required
Limitation of Liability
Handyman Gauteng's liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from our services beyond what is directly attributable to our workmanship.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute, parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably before pursuing legal remedies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
